WWE Crown Jewel 2019: Every Match Ranked From Worst To Best

Well, it didn't suck.

Where WWE's Saudi Arabia shows are concerned, skepticism is really the only sensible option, and so it's vaguely surprising that this year's Crown Jewel event was probably the best of the four shows they've held in the region to date.

That's not saying much at all, but this show touted "only" three out-and-out duds, while the vast majority of the in-ring action was at least decent if not genuinely rather good.

Does it instill confidence in WWE following the infamy of Hell in a Cell? Absolutely not, but for a show that, on paper, seemed destined for either disaster or tedium, it moved relatively fast and gave many prime roster members apt time to shine.

It wasn't actively insulting to fans' intelligence like other prior Saudi events, even if WWE's seemingly inevitable failure to capitalise on the crowd-pleasing outcome of the main event will likely make it all seem worse in retrospect.

As ever, wait and see, but keep your expectations low for the future...
