WWE Elimination Chamber 2014: 10 Questions & Answers

10. Who Will Leave Elimination Chamber As WWE World Heavyweight Champion?

The smart choice is Randy Orton. That's just how WWE has things lined up. Orton has lost clean to Daniel Bryan, John Cena and Cesaro. He did beat Christian on Smackdown two weeks ago. His match with Sheamus is coming up Monday on Raw. I think he'll likely lose that one too. It's frustrating that WWE would book their WWE WHC to lose 3 (and maybe 4) non-title matches in the buildup to a match that is supposed to be a really big deal, but that's what happened. Their thinking is by making Orton go into the match as a loser, fans are going to think he's going to lose the title match. What will happen is he'll find a way to retain the title despite the fact that he's been booked as a loser for a couple of weeks. Here's how I would rank the six participants from least likely to win to most likely to win. Christian - Huge fan of the guy, but he's just there to help the match quality because he always has good matches. Doubt he's going to last very long in it. Cesaro - They're obviously high on him, which is great considering he's such an awesome in-ring performer. He may be a top guy in the next year or two. For right now he's not really a threat to win this. Sheamus - He's fresh off a return at the Royal Rumble and has multiple World/WWE Title reigns, so in terms of credibility he belongs. While we're not really sure what he might do at WrestleMania, it's unlikely that he's going to be main eventing. John Cena - It's been reported for weeks that Cena's likely going to clash with Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania. Because of that, I don't expect a win here. It would be the third straight PPV loss for him, but that's what I expect. Wyatt will probably find a way to interfere to cost him. Daniel Bryan - I really hope he wins because then he could be in the WrestleMania main event just like that. You could make it a triple threat with Orton getting his rematch and Batista getting his title shot too. Makes sense, right? It does, but that's not my pick. Randy Orton - The reasons were already listed. I think WWE loves booking him as this vulnerable champion that could lose any time, but comes up big with the WWE Tile on the line. I think he retains.
