WWE: Fantasy Booking 8 Big Matches For WrestleMania 31

8. Rey Mysterio vs Sami Zayn

Rey Mysterio Sami ZaynBackground: NXT star Sami Zayn makes his debut on WWE's main roster in the summer of 2014 and immediately strikes a chord with the fans, his exciting technique and likeable personality endearing him to crowds across the world. With wins over the likes of Justin Gabriel, Tyson Kidd, and Sin Cara, Zayn rockets up the card €“ he even scores victories over heavyweight opponents, such as Jack Swagger and Fandango. Rey Mysterio, the greatest Cruiserweight legend of all time, takes notice of the young Zayn and makes a respectful challenge for WrestleMania €“ a one-on-one match, with the winner as WWE's top cruiserweight. The Match: Mysterio comes to the ring wearing an outfit inspired by Marvel's Ant-Man, reminding the fans (and his opponent) that size isn't everything. Zayn shakes Mysterio's hand before the match, and the two go to work. There's a bit of a feeling-out process in the opening, as Mysterio is facing an unfamiliar opponent and Zayn is on a brand-new stage. Both men soon reach into their arsenals, though, and before long, are pulling out all the stops to try and make their mark. Mysterio backdrops Zayn out of the ring, then crashes down on him with a somersault plancha. Zayn recovers, though, and nails Mysterio with a big boot against the steps on the outside, then climbs to the top rope and hits a crossbody from 12 feet in the air. Back in the ring, Zayn sets Mysterio up for a Tornado DDT, but Mysterio shoves him off and dropkicks Zayn in the leg, sending him chest-first against the middle rope. Rey seizes the opportunity to hit the 619, then Drops the Dime on Zayn for the win. The two shake hands and hug after the match €“ Sami Zayn will have his day in WWE, but WrestleMania XXXI belongs to Rey Mysterio. Winner: Rey Mysterio in 13:56
