WWE Firing Staff For Leaking WWE WrestleMania 36 Spoilers

Only a handful of employees were present at tapings.

WWE spoilers leaking from Titan Towers have never been more sensitive than they are right now, what with the company's entire television output and even WrestleMania itself being pre-taped. With staffers privy to the outcome of their biggest show of the year, it's entirely understandable that the promotion are taking the harshest possible line when it comes to the unwanted dissemination of internal info.

According to a report in Sports Illustrated, this extends to sacking employees who spill the beans.

SI further commented that, in order to keep WrestleMania's results under as tight a wrap as possible - and to make obvious any potential blabbermouth - the show's tapings were restricted to a limited selection of elite personnel. This included Vince McMahon, Kevin Dunn, Paul Heyman and Bruce Prichard. Only the company's most trusted agents, most of whom are leading figures at the Performance Center, were present for the matches.

It's understood this includes Shawn Michaels, Brian James, and Adam Pearce.

With such a small number of people at 'Mania, it'll be easy to point the finger of blame should results slip out. Thus far, WWE have done a very decent job of saving the surprises.

He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
