John Cena’s WWE schedule has reduced over the past few years due to his growing acting career. That said, the lighter schedule did not stop him from winning his 16th World Championship, tying Ric Flair’s record for the most number of world titles.

The Cenation Leader earned it by nailing AJ Styles with two Attitude Adjustment in the roll at the 2017 Royal Rumble event. However, he failed to retain the title at Elimination Chamber despite performing a massive Diving Crossbody off the pod to take out two of his opponents.

Cena focused on the “entertainment” aspect of “sports entertainment” throughout his sporadic appearances in 2018/19. To make The Undertaker face him at WrestleMania 34, the (former) Face that Runs the Place mocked The Deadman’s mannerisms and signature moves like the throat cut gesture and Chokeslam during his match against Kane. At Super Show-Down, Elias became the first superstar to be on the receiving end of Cena’s “devastating” Lightning Fist on TV/pay-per-view.

At WrestleMania 35, Cena appeared as The Doctor of Thuganomics, talked down on The Drifter, and delivered an FU before leaving to a thunderous ovation…
