WWE Hall Of Fame 2014: 10 Candidates For Induction

2. The Ultimate Warrior

The Ultimate Warrior has done and said a lot of crazy things over the years, but is anything more shocking than him now being on normal speaking terms with WWE? There's been a lot of bad blood between the two sides going back over two decades, so much so that a Warrior return always seemed out of the question. Heck, WWE even released an entire DVD burying the guy! Whether you love or hate The Warrior, there's just something about him that draws fans to him. He had an amazing body, an interesting gimmick and boatloads of charisma. Sure, he couldn't wrestle a good match to save his life (unless he was being carried by Randy Savage or Rick Rude), but for many fans, it just didn't matter. Warrior had a couple of WrestleMania matches, but none bigger than his Mania VI showdown with Hulk Hogan. Sure, Warrior proved that his gimmick was too shallow to carry the company, but very few people have ever got over by doing so little as he did. With his inclusion in the newest WWE videogame, it seemed that some past wounds between him and the WWE were starting to heal. It was even reported that McMahon and Warrior had a meeting for the first time in years. What could they have been talking about? Well, a new Warrior DVD (that doesn't make fun of him for an hour and a half) is on its way. Could a Hall of Fame induction be far behind?

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
