WWE Hints At Triple H Raw Announcement Relating To Dean Ambrose

Triple H will answer criticism of last Sunday's Royal Rumble.

instagram WWE are promising a major announcement from Triple H on tonight's Raw show. The only thing the company confirmed is that it will be relating to last Sunday's Royal Rumble controversy, but the WWE's Instagram account has now hinted that Triple H's news will involve Dean Ambrose. "How will @tripleh announcement tomorrow on #Raw affect #DeanAmbrose? #Unstable #WWE," the post stated alongside the above photo of Ambrose. WWE's closing hook on last Thursday's Smackdown show was hyping Hunter's announcement. It is certainly being built up as something very big with WrestleMania 31 implications. The initial suspicion was that the news would involve Daniel Bryan. After all, the Rumble controversy was mainly around Bryan's elimination and Roman Reigns' win. However, insiders like Dave Meltzer have indicated that WWE are adamant on not adding Bryan to the Mania main event. Vince McMahon's feeling is that it would be going to the well once too often after last year's change. That's not to say the fan outrage this past week won't have made a difference. WWE's Instagram later posted a photo of Bryan and said "Will the #YesMovement be stopped in its tracks by @tripleh major announcement on #Raw? #WWE #DanielBryan #YesYesYes." Vince McMahon is notorious for rewriting Raw several times all the way up until the show conclusion, so the direction of Triple H's announcement really could depend upon McMahon's mood at the time. For what it's worth, Roman Reigns was said to be getting excellent reactions from WWE house crowds over the weekend. That would support Vince's idea that the Mania main event shouldn't be changed. As for why WWE are teasing the Ambrose involvement, it could just be a red herring designed to throw fans off the scent of Hunter's news. Then again, The Lunatic Fringe is without an obvious angle for Mania, so maybe Triple H's announcement is designed to set him up with something. Perhaps it will be something like Reigns and Ambrose reuniting at Fast Lane with some sort of stipulation relating to Reigns' title shot. Any hope for Bryan being added to the Mania main event should be at best cautious optimism. The company could be going back and forth on a few angles right now and likely aren't sure themselves of what will be best for business.
