WWE House Show Europe Tour Attendance Figures, Mason Ryan's Push

Touring Europe twice a year for the WWE is huge business and the Wrestling Observer have printed attendance figures and gate numbers; * RAW on November 2nd in Dublin drew 7,000 fans for $545,000 * SmackDown on November 3rd in Bilbao, Spain drew 4,000 fans for $200,000 * RAW on November 3rd in Nantes, France drew 4,700 fans for $325,000 * RAW on November 4th in Amneville, France drew 5,800 fans for $420,000 * SmackDown on November 4th in Graz, Austria drew 2,600 fans for $215,000 * RAW on November 5th in Manchester drew 12,600 fans for $650,000 * SmackDown on November 5th in Vienna, Austria drew 4,000 fans for $375,000 * RAW on November 6th in Sheffield drew 7,500 fans for $420,000 * SmackDown on November 6th in Cardiff, Wales drew 4,600 fans for $280,000 * SmackDown on November 7th in Birmingham drew 7,000 for $380,000 As something of an indicator, for ringside seats to the Newcastle event I attended this week the face value of tickets was £50. Presumably this was across the board pricing for all venues in the country though at time of writing there is not yet info on the gate receipts for that Newcastle event. Meanwhile, Wrestling Observer also reports that there are some WWE agents who are quietly complaining about the recent push of Mason Ryan. I noted in my Newcastle event write up that Ryan totally squashed Curt Hawkins in a match where Hawkins got in no offense. Ryan looked HUGE in real life and is one of those guys who when you look at him, you just know that he is the bodybuilder type that Vince McMahon likes to push and has the potential to be the next Batista. Ryan, a Welshman, was a former performer on the UK version of Gladiators is part of Team Orton in a 5 on 5 traditional Survivor Series elimination match at the next WWE PPV that takes place on November 20th from New York City€™s Madison Square Garden.
