Zack Ryder's hit Internet show The Z Long Island True Story returned this weekend on Ryder's personal YouTube channel but things weren't as they seemed. In his brief 38 second long post Ryder throws down the Internet Championship, his shades and foam finger before saying "I can't do this anymore" and throwing his replica spiked hair hat at the camera to end the video. Exactly what this video is supposed to signify isn't entirely clear but it would suggest either a gimmick change or heel turn both of which are long overdue for the once extremely popular but continuously misused WWE Superstar. Ryder made his debut in WWE as one of the popular Edgeheads alongside Curt Hawkins but when the pair split Ryder managed to make a name for himself by creating his Jersey Shore style persona which shot to fame through his home made Internet show. Eventually WWE noticed Ryder's rising popularity and took control of the show and his character which is arguably when things started to go down hill for his career. Recently Ryder has been on a continuous losing streak only managing to get back to his winning ways on WWE's current European Tour. Perhaps the shows in Europe will be Ryder's last as a babyface or at least we may see a more serious side to his character going forward.
