Just days after JTG and Zack Ryder openly criticised WWE over their poor Wrestlemania payoffs, former World champs Chris Jericho and Kevin Nash have begun their own war of words, this time because of controversial comments made by Big Sexy in an interview with Grantland.com When asked about the state of the wrestling business Nash answered negatively, slating the current crop of champions. Referring to CM Punk and Daniel Bryan Nash said: They are not bigger than life, he says. I bet they could both walk through airports and not be noticed unless they have a gimmick shirt on and the belt.He went on to describe the moment he feels the wrestling business died and attributed it to the moment a 'small' guy won the belt.
When Benoit and Guerrero hugged , that was the end of the business, he says. Has business been the same since that WrestleMania? Has it come close to the Austin era? Has it come close to the nWo or the Hogan era? You put two fing guys that were great workers that were the same height as the fing referees, and Im sorry, man. Nash has frequently referred to Twitter as his "PS3", and is not considered a reliable source by anyone looking for the facts. However It is certainly an interesting time to be a wrestling fan if you have Twitter, that's for sure. We'll keep you updated on any further developments.
