WWE Live Review From Allentown - 10 Interesting Observations From Ringside

10 takeaways from WWE's latest stop in the Keystone State.

There are few live entertainment experiences more rewarding than seeing the Superstars and Divas of World Wrestling Entertainment live. Sunday night, October 5, the men and women of Vince McMahon's sports-entertainment empire rolled into Allentown, Pennsylvania's brand new PPL Center for a night of action headlined by a humongous tag team bout pitting the surging Dean Ambrose and "The World's Largest Athlete" The Big Show against The Authority's corporate demon Kane and "The Viper" Randy Orton. Supporting that contest on the undercard was a war between the United States and Russia as Mark Henry squared off with Rusev, accompanied by Lana. Yours truly was at ringside for the night's festivities. The arena was fairly full, which was nice to see considering this was WWE's first stop in the area since the regular television tapings held back in the 1980s ceased. The arena was beautiful, the workers friendly and environment electric as fans waited for their favorite Superstars and Divas to explode through the curtain and provide a night of family-friendly entertainment. The new live event setup WWE implemented two years ago is outstanding in that there are two video screens that allow fans to watch promotional videos, recaps and advertisements while they wait for the show to begin. Sunday night, the company made sure to heavily promote their relationship with Susan G. Komen, as well as shilling the WWE Network. With another live event experience in the books, join me as I take a look at 10 takeaways from WWE's latest stop in the Keystone State.

Erik Beaston is a freelance pro wrestling writer who likes long walks in the park, dandelions and has not quite figured out that this introduction is not for Match.com. He resides in Parts Unknown, where he hosts weekly cookouts with Kane, The Ultimate Warrior, Papa Shango and The Boogeyman. Be jealous.
