Hulk Hogan has reached a verbal agreement with the WWE for a return. The latest news coming from The Wrestling Observer states Hogan is on board to appear at Wrestlemania 30 and the Hall of Fame.
However, Hogan will not be wrestling, he is unfortunately in no condition to get cleared by a WWE physical. Instead the talks have so far focused on what Hogan may do in regards to the Hall of Fame. In order to fully utilize The Hulkster's star power, WWE are discussing the induction of a Hulk Hogan match into the Hall of Fame. The contest in question would be the Wrestlemania 1 main event, Hogan and Mr T vs Roddy Piper and Paul Orndorf. With all four men on hand it would be a major moment for the ceremony - particularly getting mainstream media with the involvement of Mr T.
The other discussions to take place about Hogan and the Hall of Fame involve Ultimate Warrior. Many people inside the WWE expect Hogan to be the man to induct Warrior. For Vince McMahon and Hogan this makes sense. It would be a significant moment to grab headlines at the ceremony, a similar scenario to Hogan putting Warrior over back in 1990. For Hulk it lets him grab some more of the spotlight. Warrior however could be reluctant for any contact with Hogan; just take a look at this shoot video!
Needless to say, any Warrior and Hogan moment is going to be fascinating to see. The real intrigue is going to be Warrior's actual speech - will he reference his relationship with Vince McMahon and his infamous destruction of Triple H in under two minutes at Wrestlemania 12?
