WWE NXT ARRIVAL Review - 5 Things We Learned

Earlier this week, Elimination Chamber aired as the last big pay-per-view before Wrestlemania and the WWE Network launch. And like most pay-per-views in the past year, you probably left it feeling disappointed (I'm assuming, but then again you might be that one guy buying Batista shirts and shouting "DEAL WITH IT!") But do not despair, wrestling fans! Because another pay-per-view aired this week, and it was EVERYTHING you would want from a wrestling show. WWE decided to show their faith in their NXT brand by giving it the honour of being the first ever live broadcast on the WWE Network, and they did NOT disappoint. They had excellent matches such as Bo Dallas vs Adrian Neville and Sami Zayn vs Cesaro IV (imagine.... a wrestling rematch you actually WANT to see!) as well as appearances from Bret Hart, Kevin Nash, Shawn Michaels, Too Cool and the Authority themselves, Triple H and Stephanie, who were beaming ear-to-ear all night long. Maybe they've forgotten what its like to get a positive reaction to a PPV, but this one did everything right. As a wrestling fan, watching this made me feel incredibly excited for the future. Here are five things we can take away from the first ever NXT special and hold close to our hearts whenever the flagship shows swing and miss

Stephen Maher has been a rock star, a bouncer, a banker and a busker on various streets in various countries. He's hung out with Robert Plant, he was at Nelson Mandela's birthday and he's swapped stories with prostitutes and crack addicts. He once performed at a Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras by accident. These days, he passes the time by writing about music, wrestling, games and other forms of nerdery. And he rarely drinks the blood of the innocent.
