WWE NXT Spoilers For The Next Four Weeks

For the first time in 2016, WWE NXT filmed upcoming television shows at Full Sail University in Florida on Thursday, January 7th. Prior to the show, WWE also experimented with a filming a new series, likely for the WWE Network, titled NXT Kids. The NXT Kids program took the spot of when the company usually runs some dark matches before the television tapings start. The full spoilers for the next four weeks of WWE NXT on the WWE Network were as follows: Week 1 (to air January 13th) - Sami Zayn came on to speak about his comeback. He talked about how he is going to become the first two-time NXT Champion. Samoa Joe and Baron Corbin came out to dispute who is the number one contender. Joe ended up backing off from Zayn, but Corbin attacked Zayn. Zayn got the upper-hand on Corbin while Joe refrained from fighting. - Tomasso Ciampa defeated Danny Birch - Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder defeated The Ascension - Elias Samson defeated Cory Hollis - Carmella won a women's battle royal to win a shot at the NXT Women's Championship. The last woman she defeated was Eva Marie. Other participants in the battle royal were: . Interestingly, Nia Jax was not in the match. After the match, Crews talked about disliking winning by DQ. He doesn't think he's earned a title match, but he said he wants a non-title match with Finn Balor. - Baron Corbin defeated Rich Swann (one report said this might have been a dark match) - Bayley and Carmella defeated Alexa Bliss and Emma (with Dana Brooke) - Samoa Joe defeated Johnny Gargano Week 3 (to air January 27th) - American Alpha (Jason Jordan and Chad Gable) defeated Blake and Murphy (with Alexa Bliss) - Nia Jax (with Eva Marie) defeated Liv Morgan - Alex Riley defeated Bull Dempsey - Elias Samson defeated John Skylar - Number 1 Contender Match: Sami Zayn vs. Samoa Joe vs. Baron Corbin. No winner was announced to the crowd, while William Regal came out to talk with the wrestlers and ref after the match. Sami Zayn had Corbin in a Sharpshooter, and Joe put Corbin in a crossface simultaneously. Corbin tapped and both men thought they won.
