WWE NXT Women's Champion Sasha Banks is injured, reports the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. She is believed to be suffering from a problem with either her arm or shoulder. It is unknown if this happened in the recent Becky Lynch match or if it was suffered beforehand. She didn't appear at all on the recent tv tapings, nor did she work the most recent house show. As such, fans won't be seeing Sasha Banks wrestling on the WWE Network for a while. She had been scheduled for a match on the fourth episode of the tapings, but left early due to her fiancée being rushed to hospital. Her fiancée (Sarath Ton) also works in NXT and was taken to hospital after being knocked out. There's no specific details on what happened but it was said to be a scary incident. The impression right now is that Banks' injury isn't too bad and she will be back in due course. There's been no mention of WWE taking the title off her. She's one of the very biggest stars on NXT and one of the best pro wrestlers in the entire company. There's no doubt that she's the number one female performer in WWE right now. Hopefully she'll be back to action soon and continuing to light our screens up.
