WWE: NXT's Arrival Will Lead To 7 Major Departures

7. Divas Division

The WWE needs to clean up their Divas Division, and bring it back to the prominence it had when the likes of Trish Stratus, Lita, Victoria, Ivory, Molly Holly and Mickie James were there. Those women were not only beautiful, but they could all hold their own inside the ring. They were able to develop rivalries, have groundbreaking matches, and produced two WWE Hall of Famers along the way. Since the departure of those women, WWE has struggled with the division. There are a few current Divas on the roster that may find themselves out of the WWE shortly. Names like Layla and Rosa Mendes, who have missed significant time due to injuries or personal issues, may be the first to go. Eva Marie is not ready for the main roster, and her in ring skills are embarrassing. She's only there because of the Total Divas reality show. If the WWE is serious on building up the division, Eva Marie will be gone as soon as the E! show ends. Alicia Fox and Aksana are two more Divas to consider, as their careers have just been stalled in the division. We have already seen the influx of NXT Divas on RAW, including Summer Rae and Emma, both of whom can hold their own in the ring. The first ever NXT Divas Champion Paige got a great ovation on her debut on RAW, and was quickly able to pin AJ Lee to become the new WWE Divas Champion. I'd love to see a feud develop between AJ and Paige over the title, and they would be able to deliver quality matches, if they're given the time. There are also more Divas down in NXT, like Charlotte, Sasha Banks and Bayley who will continue to develop their skills and make it to RAW shortly. With all the talent in NXT, look for the WWE to revamp the current Divas division.
