NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day saw MSK overcome GYV to win this year's Dusty Rhodes Tag Classic, punching their tickets for a shot at Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch's NXT Tag Team Championships in the process. James Drake and Zack Gibson's chair-assisted assault was a response to this and suggested their feud was set to continue.

There is currently no word on the extent of Lee's injuries, nor has there been any indication of how long he'll be out for.

NXT viewers will be hoping for a speedy recovery. WWE has pushed MSK right out of the gates, booking them to win the Dusty Classic just two months after signing with the promotion, and the GYV match stands as one of the year's most acclaimed so far. Fingers crossed the damage isn't too severe.
