WWE Plan Daniel Bryan Vs Kane 'Buried Alive' Match For Payback

WWE are planning a Daniel Bryan vs Kane in a 'Buried Alive' rematch for the Payback PPV, reports F4Wonline. Vince McMahon's original plan was Batista vs Bryan as the Payback main event but with Batista unhappy and looking to take time off, the contingency plan for Kane vs Bryan was firmly put into place at Extreme Rules. Last night's event featured Batista jobbing to The Shield and Kane sitting up after his loss to Bryan to close the show with his pyro and an intimidating stare. WWE booked this as the last scene because they felt it they needed that direction with another Kane match in mind. The implication is that Bryan beat Kane, but he didn't keep him down. With the Observer reporting that a Buried Alive match is in the works, the sell of the Payback main event will be that Bryan or Kane will finally end their feud by burying the other under ground. It is a very gimmicky concept but it could have been worse, with all the fire from last night's main event, we had feared Payback would be a Bryan vs Kane inferno match. If plans are to change again, if WWE manage to convince Batista to stay and do the Bryan match, that would be far more appealing. If Batista is intent on leaving, then expect a blow-off match with The Shield on Raw tonight, the Observer has reported he could be in with The Shield and you would guess put one of them over on his way out.
