WWE PPV Schedule Announced For 2015

The WWE Pay-Per-View schedule for 2015 was released on Wednesday. It was posted by Sky Sports with information including the date, the name of the PPVs, the venues and the cities. As has been the case for several years now, all PPVs will take place in the United States of America. Here's a look at all the shows in 2015; January 25th: Royal Rumble, Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA February 22nd: Fast Lane, FedEx Forum in Memphis, TN March 29th: WrestleMania 31, Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, CA April 26th: Extreme Rules, Allstate Arena in Chicago, IL May 17th: Payback, Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, MD June 14th: Money In the Bank, Nationwide Arena in Columbus, OH July 19th: Battleground, Scottrade Center in St. Louis, MO August 23rd: SummerSlam, Izod Center in East Rutherford, NJ September 20th: Night of Champions, Toyota Center in Houston, TX October 25th: Hell In a Cell, Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA November 22nd: Survivor Series, Philips Arena in Atlanta, GA December 13th: TLC, TD Garden in Boston, MA Here are some notes to take away from the schedule: - The Fast Lane PPV name was known a few months back. The "Fast Lane" title was trademarked years ago because there was a John Cena game named that. WWE loves the car theme names since they've had Over the Limit in the past to. Most likely WWE just wanted to make it a regular PPV between the two major shows the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania. - The Elimination Chamber PPV name is no more. That doesn't mean that WWE won't do an Elimination Chamber match. They could do the match at another PPV like Battleground in July although they might not want to do it back to back with Money in the Bank. - Most PPVs have a build of at least four weeks, which is good. Some of them have only three weeks before PPVs. - SummerSlam was in Los Angeles for the past six years, but they are moving it to New Jersey (near New York City) because WrestleMania is in California this year. This was known for several months too. - Those of us in Canada have to keep waiting for a PPV. Toronto, which is the biggest city in Canada, hasn't had a PPV since Unforgiven 2006. Montreal had a PPV in 2009, but that was six years ago. For whatever reason, WWE wants to stay away from Canada on PPVs. - There are some familiar cities on there because WWE loves going back to the bigger American cities like Chicago (arguably the best WWE fans), Los Angeles, Boston and St. Louis among others. All PPVs are on WWE Network, which is available in most countries and launching in UK & Ireland before the Royal Rumble, so if you can't get to the shows in person make sure you check them out on WWE Network.
