WWE: Predicting 6 More Candidates That Will Enter Hall Of Fame 2014

6. Jake Roberts

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EzE9UgLGjWs The return of Jake Roberts on Old School Raw on January 6th has led to rumors that he is back in WWE's good graces and a Hall of induction is very likely. Hopefully that turns out to be true because Roberts deserves to be honored with his peers. Even though the 59 year old Roberts didn't win any titles in WWE, he clearly made a big impact because he's known as one of the best talkers in the history of the business. There are few wrestlers in today's WWE that could match what Roberts did in his prime in terms of offering up some of the smartest promos in the history of wrestling. Roberts showed that he could do it all in his career whether he was a heel or face. His babyface work was a lot of fun, but when he went evil on a guy like Randy Savage he showed just how mean he could me. Images like when Roberts had his snake bite Savage on the arm will haunt wresting fans forever. Savage was a hero to so many, yet Roberts made him suffer. It was excellent storytelling and just one of many memorable feuds that Roberts had. In his personal life, Roberts has battled demons. It's well known that he's had an addiction to alcohol and drugs for the majority of his life. However, in the past couple of years he has sought out the help of his friend Diamond Dallas Page, who has helped him live a cleaner life partly due to DDP Yoga and also because Roberts started eating better. Roberts is clean and sober again while in the right state of mind. Hopefully WWE is considering him for the Hall of Fame because he is definitely worthy. It would also be very uplifting to hear his speech because of everything he has overcome to get where he is now.
