WWE Pulls Daniel Bryan From European Tour

Intercontinental Champion removed as a precautionary measure over injuries.

WWE Intercontinental Champion Daniel Bryan has been officially removed from WWE's ongoing tour of Europe as a "precautionary measure". Earlier in the week, reports remerged that concerns over Bryan's health had led to WWE pulling back expectations on his ring-time, reducing the amount of singles matches the IC would be involved in; replaced by tag matches, where he would be required to take less bumps. This has now escalated to the point where WWE have pulled Bryan altogether from the live events in Europe. The decision was made following last night's SmackDown tapings in London where Bryan teamed with US Champion John Cena against Tyson Kidd and Cesaro. WWE's statement read; "Daniel Bryan has been pulled from the remainder of the UK tour as a precautionary measure." Bryan of course, missed the second half of 2014 due to issues stemming from the neck injuries that forced him to relinquish the WWE title last summer. Not long since he returned to in-ring action this year, reports would circulate that Bryan was still dealing with the replications of the injuries and especially lately that WWE were protecting him over concerns he might damage himself further. According to some, it's also potentially the reason why WWE didn't book Daniel Bryan for a title run against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 31. We will keep you updated on Bryan's in-ring status as it develops.
