WWE: Ranking Randy Savage's 8 Matches At WrestleMania

Now that WrestleMania 30 is upon us, it's important to really look back at this history of the event and focus on the stars that made WrestleMania mean something special. Without the big names there to set the stage, we wouldn't even have WrestleMania. In terms of the early WrestleManias - the first ten years - two guys really dominated them: Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage. In the future there will be a list of Hogan's best performances, but for right now it's time to look at "Macho Man" Randy Savage. As a kid that grew up watching wrestling, Randy Savage was THE guy. Why? Because nobody else had his combination of in-ring talent, charisma, personality on the microphone and gifts to succeed as a heel and face. Ric Flair could do it too, but he wasn't in WWE until the 8th WrestleMania. Hogan is the biggest star of the first 10 WrestleManias, no question about it. However, Savage was the best all around talent and in many ways, the best performer as well. Savage is also the greatest professional wrestler ever that's not in WWE's Hall of Fame. That goes without saying. Here's a look at Savage's matches at WrestleMania from the worst to the best. Since he had four matches at WrestleMania 4 as part of the tournament, I'm just going to lump them all together as one.
