WWE Raw: 10 Things You Might Have Missed (Oct 24)

Paul Heyman didn't get the response from fans he was looking for on Raw...

The go-home episode of Monday Night Raw before Hell In A Cell was headlined by a Triple Threat encounter pitting Seth Rollins against both Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho. Whilst the match was officially titled to reflect that it was every man for himself, Owens and Jericho naturally tried to team up and take Rollins down before the pay-per-view.

Overall, WWE were able to put some shine on the WWE Universal Title showdown for Sunday by having Owens hit a Powerbomb on Rollins onto the ring apron. Still, nothing in the Universal Title situation was able to match a stirring segment involving the Raw Women's Title.

During that contract signing between Sasha Banks and Charlotte, one subtle aesthetic helped create some nice visual appeal. That's the kind of thing focused on here, those little nuances that may have been easily missed by those watching the show.

A crowd that wasn't willing to co-operate, the reset button being pushed on one performer and Kevin Owens once again showing why he's Raw's top heel are also all included.

Here are ten things you may just have glossed over on Raw...

10. Brock Lesnar Graphic Showed Goldberg Being Smashed With An F-5

Right at the top of the show, the production team flashed a graphic onto the screen showing Paul Heyman standing behind Brock Lesnar. Further into the background, a smaller screen showed footage from the WWE 2K17 video game. This is an excellent way to sell the title, WWE annually show their wrestlers in digital form around this time of year.

There was something notable about the clip though. Firstly, Goldberg and Lesnar were shown making their respective entrances. Then, Brock hit a German Suplex on his Survivor Series opponent before succumbing to the Jackhammer. That wasn't the last move shown in the footage.

Closing things out, Brock could be seen smashing Goldberg with an F-5 in the middle of the ring. It's true that no pinfalls were shown at all, however could this be a subtle nod towards what might happen come Survivor Series?

WWE may have just telegraphed the match when it happens in real-life. Although this may be looking into things a little too much, it's nonetheless true that most fans would have failed to pick up on the F-5.
