WWE Raw: 8 Things To Expect Tonight (April 18)

Are The Authority set to return?

WWE roll into London this week for an always-eventful UK edition of Raw. British crowds are always lively, and should continue the slightly bizarro feel we've become accustomed to since WrestleMania 32.

The company is a real mixed bag at the moment, with Shane McMahon's brief (and possibly ongoing) tenure in charge of Raw acting as a storyline catalyst for the prominence of several newer stars. Sami Zayn, Enzo and Cass, Baron Corbin and Apollo Crews have all benefitted as a result.

On the other hand - and it's a pretty significant point - Roman Reigns is WWE World Heavyweight Champion. As optimistic as things look elsewhere on the card, it's hard to shake the feeling that Vince McMahon's stubbornness will see Roman hold on to the title for a good while, regardless of crowd reaction.

Whatever happens tonight, the significance will surely be amplified by a boisterous London crowd. Here are a few things to look out for...

8. A Hostile Reaction For Roman Reigns

Make no mistake about it - Roman Reigns is going to get booed tonight. It's unclear whether the WWE World Heavyweight Champion will have a match tonight, but WWE.com's official Raw preview seems to suggest so:

'Now, Reigns brings his coveted title to the United Kingdom, two weeks before he defends it against AJ Styles at WWE Payback. How will the powerhouse prove his doubters wrong once again on Raw?'

For Roman, this should be just another negative crowd reaction in a long list - but the timing is particularly bad in terms of momentum. If you're not aware, his Payback title defence against (internet darling) AJ Styles is to take place in Chicago, one of the smarkiest cities in the world.

Uh oh.
