WWE Raw Preview: Lesnar And Reigns Face To Face; Sting Expected

Spoilers ahead of the last RAW before WrestleMania 31!

It's the last Raw before WrestleMania and there's a lot of things that are set to take place tonight. The show is taking place in Los Angeles, which is the second biggest city in America and a huge market for WWE to possibly get celebrities in the crowd too. We know they love that stuff. The plan is to tape three hours of Raw and also to tape some of Smackdown because there is no taping scheduled tomorrow. For fans in attendance it's going to be a really long night. The big hype for the show is a face to face showdown between WWE Champion Brock Lesnar and his WrestleMania opponent Roman Reigns. It was set up last week when Lesnar's advocate Paul Heyman announced that Lesnar would be there. Heyman suggested that if Reigns had something to say to Lesnar then he should say it to his face. A brawl between the two combatants would be a welcome sight because they really haven't done anything together, so it's important that things get physical a bit. Speaking of Reigns, it was revealed over the weekend that WWE filmed something with Roman's family in Florida. It could air on Raw although they might save it for Smackdown or WrestleMania. It's likely going to be one of those pieces where he talks about how he has to win for his family's legacy and we'll see his dad Sika as well as well as others talking about how they believe in him. Sting is expected to be at the show according to a report from PWInsider. That's not really a surprise although WWE has avoided advertising him this week. Last week he saved Randy Orton from an attack from The Authority, so WWE is hyping up a Triple H response to the Stinger. Maybe Sting will talk on Raw this week instead of on WWE Network. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AO4GhbrXQIM Will The Undertaker show up? Probably not. He may be at the show because most of the WWE crew is out there by now, but the latest word was that he wouldn't be on Raw prior to WrestleMania. Maybe he'll send a video or audio kind of message to scare Bray Wyatt. Seeing him on Raw would be cool and it might happen. It's just not expected at this time. The final WWE Hall of Fame announcement is expected to be made official tonight as well. The last name is Kevin Nash aka Diesel. Apparently he's going to be introduced only as Diesel just like Scott Hall was inducted only as Razor Ramon last year. It's because WWE trademarks those names, so they want to acknowledge them as their creations even though both guys became arguably bigger stars in WCW. WWE has also announced two celebrities in attendance: rapper Snoop Dogg and writer/TV personality Bill Simmons. Snoop Dogg is well known and has been involved with WWE several times in the past. He's been working some angle with Curtis Axel on Twitter, so look for some "comedy" type segment with them. Simmons is a ESPN sports writer and TV personality that also runs Grantland.com and is a huge wrestling fan. He's going to sit in on commentary for a bit. He's taken some jabs at John Bradshaw Layfield, so look for them to do some bickering on commentary. The WrestleMania card is pretty much set, so there will likely be segments devoted to every WrestleMania match. The rumor is that the Tag Team Title match will take place on the two hour pre-show, which is a shame because it seems like that always happens to the Tag Title match. Still no word on if Jey Uso will be cleared since he has a shoulder injury. The match is expected to be Cesaro & Tyson Kidd defending the Tag Team Titles against The New Day, Los Matadores and The Usos if Jey is ready to go. There will likely be a lot of promos and video packages throughout the night. That's what WrestleMania season is all about.
