WWE Raw Preview: More Elimination Chamber Plus Guest Stars

The stars of Entourage are in the house tonight.

This week's Raw will be the last WWE event to take place in the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York. The venue will be torn down and renovated soon. Some of the more famous WWE events to take place at the Nassau Coliseum was the first ever Saturday Night's Main Event taping and SummerSlam 2002, which is one of WWE's best PPVs ever. Perhaps WWE will mention it's their last time in the building. A video package of greatest moments could also air although perhaps that would be better suited for the local fans during a commercial. This is the last Raw before Elimination Chamber. We already know several matches for the Elimination Chamber, but there are big name performers like Roman Reigns, Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt that currently have no matches at the event. Setting up a Reigns/Wyatt match is possible because Reigns interfered to help his buddy Dean Ambrose beat Wyatt last week on Smackdown. It's been reported by PWInsider that NXT stars Kevin Owens and Charlotte are both backstage for Raw. Owens started his angle with John Cena last week, so he'll probably be on the show to build up their match at Elimination Chamber. There's no word on if Owens is considered to be a main roster regular after Elimination Chamber. However, it would be damaging to him to just show up for a couple of weeks, face Cena and stay only as a NXT guy. It sure feels like Owens will be a Raw regular while still working NXT. Charlotte worked the live events on the weekend. Just because she's there doesn't mean she'll be on the show. She's been backstage for weeks since she's working more live events. There seems to be a good diva feud going on right now, so it's unlikely that her real Raw debut would be tonight. There are guest stars on Raw tonight since four cast members from the movie Entourage are set to be there: Adrian Grenier, Kevin Connolly, Kevin Dillon and Jerry Ferrara. No Jeremy Piven, who was a guest host on Raw five years ago. Also backstage at Raw is "Arrow" star Stephen Amell, who is a huge WWE fan. No word on if he'll actually be on the show although he has tweeted about wanting to be on Raw in the past. Perhaps they will set up an appearance for the future. The Raw preview didn't specify any announced matches for the show. Normally WWE doesn't announce matches until an hour before Raw and sometimes even later than that. It would be nice if they advertised matches more, but that's what their opening segment is for. In addition to all that, look for there to be more build for the announced matches for Elimination Chamber including Rollins vs. Ambrose, Cena vs. Owens, the Divas Title triple threat match and the two Elimination Chamber matches that are for the Intercontinental and Tag Team Titles. The dark match main event for Raw is John Cena, Roman Reigns & Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt, Seth Rollins & Rusev. Sometimes those matches get changed or don't even happen at all. We will let you know of any off air notes tomorrow. Finally, it's also Memorial Day in the US today, so WWE released this tribute video that will likely air during Raw as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N5lEmkY0kA4
