WWE Raw Results 5/3/12 - John Cena & The Rock Take Over Boston

Last night's WWE Raw SuperShow took place from the sold out Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. Teddy Long is in charge of tonight's Raw. Show opens with 'Mr WrestleMania' Shawn Michaels coming out to the ring. He cuts a promo on Triple H and ends up announcing that he will referee the Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels - Hell in a Cell Match at WrestleMania 28. 1) WWE United States Title Match: Santino Marella defeated Jack Swagger to become the New U.S. Champion! Santino wins after rolling out of the ankle lock to pin Swagger for the title. Interference from Dolph Ziggler, Vickie Guerrero, Aksana, Teddy Long, David Otunga and John Laurinaitis. John Laurinaitis cuts the celebration and says to cut the music and this shouldn't happen but Teddy instead calls for security and gets him escorted out of the building. The Rock "History Lesson" Promo airs talking about the Boston Tea Party in 1773 and that tonight they will have a party of their own. A Rock Revolution begins tonight. He trash talks Cena's merchandise. 2) Eve Torres defeated Alicia Fox with a roll-up out of nowhere. Kelly Kelly was on commentary. Post-match Kelly Kelly taunts Eve at ring side. Zack Ryder's big music hits and he makes it to the ring with the aid of a cane. Ryder says he is glad he never hooked up with Eve because it's Broskis Before Hoeskis. Footage from earlier today of John Cena sitting in empty arena is shown. He talks about The Rock. Says WrestleMania 28 will be his legacy. Eve and Zack Ryder are backstage. Eve hits Zack with a big kiss and walks away. Ryder smiles. 3) Chris Jericho & Daniel Bryan defeated CM Punk & Sheamus when Jericho reverses Punk's roll-out from the Walls of Jericho into a pin of his own. More footage from The Rock's promo on Cena is shown. 4) Big Show defeated The Miz with a knockout punch. Another Rock promo airs from his history lesson. 5) Kane defeated R-Truth with a chokeslam. Randy Orton comes out and lays Kane out with an RKO. He picks up the mic and says it is good to be back! John Cena and The Rock have another lengthy promo encounter in the middle of the ring.
