WWE RAW Review 7/1/2013: 5 Things We Learned

WWE-Raw-logo We are now full speed ahead towards the 2013 Money In The Bank pay per view. This week on RAW we were treated to the ongoing build for most matches that will be on the card, and here are 5 things we learned following the broadcast:

5. Daniel Bryan Opens The Show Again

daniel-bryan The opening segment of WWE RAW usually sets the tone for the entire 3+ hours of prime televised wrestling programming that will follow. It's an important segment to get right, and when done correctly, it can really get the night off to a hot start. That being said, we saw Daniel Bryan again open RAW this week, the 2nd week in a row in which he has done so, to somewhat mixed results. It's goes without question that Bryan is the most over wrestler in WWE right now, so opening the show with him cutting a promo is a good idea, as long as he can consistently pull it off. This week he did a fairly good job of getting the ball rolling, and the segment went on to build the hype for the MITB match at the pay per view. Bryan is a great in-ring performer, and we like watching the WWE give him a chance to come full circle by improving his mic work.
