WWE Raw Review Podcast - Drew McIntyre Is Heading To Hell In A Cell 2021

The one where a sommelier beats an MMA fighter...

Drew McIntyre Kofi Kingston

Join Adam Wilbourn, Michael Hamflett and Michael Sidgwick as we review this week's episode of Monday Night Raw!

Bobby Lashley's challenger for Hell In A Cell in three weeks will be former world champion Drew McIntyre after the 'Scottish Psychopath' defeated Kofi Kingston in Raw's main event last night. McIntyre pinned Kingston after a spectacular mid-air Claymore Kick as Kofi was coming off the top rope in one of the few highlights on Monday evening.

Elsewhere on the show, AJ Styles and Omos successfully defended the Raw tag team titles after Elias inexplicably turned on his partner Jaxson Ryker mid-match before later labelling him "unhinged". Nikki Cross emerged victorious from another 'Beat The Clock Challenge', this time evading #1 contender Charlotte Flair to open the show, whilst Randy Orton & Xavier Woods had an enjoyable contest in which Orton claimed victory after hitting his partner Riddle's finisher in an homage to Riddle winning via RKO last week.

Raw nevertheless compounded their viewer's misery as Reginald (the former sommelier for Carmella and now seemingly the love interest of Nia Jax) defeated legit ex-MMA fighter and two-time NXT women's champion Shayna Baszler thanks to (no prizes for guessing this one) a pyro distraction?!
