WWE RAW Spoiler - Bret Hart Returns Tonight

Raw takes place from Montreal, the site of the famous Montreal Screwjob.

Instagram.comInstagram.comWWE Hall of Famer Bret "Hitman" Hart is scheduled to make his WWE return on tonight's RAW in Montreal. Hart posted the above image and caption on his official Instagram page (@brethitmanhart) over the weekend. It is no secret that the WWE enjoys using Hart whenever they return to Montreal, the site of the famous real life Survivor Series 1997 double cross. This will be Hart's second appearance for the WWE in Montreal since that fateful night in 1997. He last appeared at a WWE show in Montreal in September of 2012, which was also the night where Jerry Lawler suffered a heart attack on the live broadcast. Hart last appeared on a televised RAW broadcast approximately seven months ago on December 9, 2013 when he presented John Cena with the "Match of the Year" Slammy Award for his main event contest with the Rock at WrestleMania 29. Slam! Wrestling has published an interview with Hart today where he confirms that his role in Montreal will be on the television broadcast, rather than just a live appearance for the Montreal fans off camera. He also joked that Lawler will probably get a bigger reaction from the crowd than he will, given the medical emergency he went through the last time RAW was in town:
"I think it's going to be a kind of similar moment than the last time, it should be a great response and it's going to be great for me to walk out and to get the warmth from those great fans. I'm just hoping it's going to be a really fun moment for me. Just to be able to walk out the ramp and high-five the fans again is enough for me to be a great moment. We'll try to stop Jerry Lawler from having another heart attack and steal my thunder," joked Hart.
Concerning Lawler, Hart went on to add:
"Yeah, I think he'll probably get a heck of a pop and rightfully so," said Hart. "He may get the pop of the night and steal my thunder again!"
Hart is also expected to appear at the SmackDown tapings in Ottawa on Tuesday evening.
