WWE Raw Suffers Lowest Viewership Numbers Of 2015

Bad sign for WWE as Raw draws its worst audience of the year.

The viewership numbers for WWE Monday night Raw this week were the lowest of the year for the program in the United States. The average number of viewers for the three hour broadcast was 3.46 million viewers, which is the second lowest non-holiday number for the show since 1997. The rating is a 2.51 officially according to PWTorch. The hourly breakdown is as follows: 8pm hour drew 3.36 million viewers, 9pm grew to 3.48 million viewers and the 10pm third hour had 3.54 million viewers. If there's a positive in all this it's that the third hour was better than the first two. Two weeks ago when Brock Lesnar returned after being off Raw for over two months, WWE was very happy with 4.11 million viewers for the three hours. A drop of over 500,000 viewers in two weeks is a bad sign that likely has management wondering what they can do to fix this. It was noted by F4WOnline that the only non-holiday Raw that was below that number (since 1997) was on December 3, 2012 against a Giants vs. Redskins NFL game that did a huge number. The most viewers for an episode of Raw this year was on March 30 with 5.36 million fans tuning in to see what would happen on the night after WrestleMania. They are down two million viewers since then, which shows that while WWE still has a lot of regular fans, there are millions of casual viewers that only tune in when they know something big might happen. It might be time for management to book a major storyline because there's no way they are happy with this number.
