WWE Raw Superstar Shake-Up: 10 Things You Might Have Missed (April 16)

Sami Zayn was once mocked and ridiculed on air for his propensity for match planning. Segments positioning him alongside Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and other locker room jocks often ended with them laughing off his comprehensive overthinking and were allegedly ribs at his expense. Like much of this current heel turn, he was finally able to flip much of the prior abuse on its head.

Pulling out a printed email and his reading glasses, Sami was a riot in delivering the news that he and Kevin Owens had made it on to Raw after all thanks to Stephanie McMahon overruling Kurt Angle's original decree. It was nice to see Zayn acknowledge this quirk, considering the lazy outcome he was forced to engage with.

Far from the cleanest conclusion to their SmackDown Live! story, Owens and Zayn shouldn't have made it back onto the flagship show with McMahon assistance. 'KO' bloodied Vince, brutalised Shane and raised the ire of Stephanie herself with the aforementioned bludgeoning of her father. Do they have an in with Linda so she could get to Steph?? And if they did, aren't they stupid for not using that link for something far more lucrative?
