WWE Raw's Ratings Trumped - Reach All Time Low

Trump laid the smackdown on Vince McMahon once again.

While the news was expected, it still must be frustrating for WWE and the USA network to see that Raw drew its worst rating ever on Monday night.

Only 2.46 million fans tuned in to watch a show main-evented by Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho vs. Enzo Amore and Big Cass. Meanwhile, the Donald Trump vs. Hillary Clinton showdown drew over 81 million viewers. Add in Monday Night Football, and WWE was certainly in for a rough night.

While those events contributed to Raw's all-time new low, the company really has to take on some of the blame themselves, as they've done a poor job of giving us something to tune in for.

Fans don't seem overly thrilled with their flagship show revolving around the power struggle between Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley, and we still haven't been given a good reason for why we should accept Seth Rollins as a top babyface.

Raw is sure to rebound next week, but hopefully this is at least a partial wake up call to Vince McMahon that more big changes are needed to take place in order to win back his dwindling audience.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
