WWE has finally released Adam Rose.

The news broke Monday afternoon on the company's website, stating that they had granted Rose's request to be released, rather than firing him themselves (though that seemed a certainty to happen soon).

He is of course wished all the best in his future endeavours.

The news comes just 24 hours after Cody Rhodes was granted his WWE release after stating his desire to leave on Friday. More WWE releases have been expected though circumstances involving Rhodes and Rose don't quite fit the agenda of the cost-cutting releases earlier in the month.

The last few weeks have been a total roller-coaster for the Social Outcast. On April 16th he was suspended for 60 days for a second violation of the WWE's Wellness Program. Rose immediately contested this via social media, and went on to post a handwritten note from his doctor claiming WWE knew of his condition and that protocol had been followed all along.

Things took a turn for the strange on May 11th when Rose was arrested in the early hours of the morning and charged with tampering with a witness and domestic violence.

The saga (at least it seems) is now over, with Rose officially released.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
