WWE Release Heart-Wrenching 'Stone Crusher' Connor Michalek Tribute Video

WWE have been the brunt of a lot of criticism in 2014 but a video released this week shows off the good that the company can do. Some may remember the story of little Connor Michalek, the little boy with brain cancer who was a massive fan of the WWE and in particular, Daniel Bryan. Back in 2012, thanks to Make-A-Wish, he got to meet his hero and made him tap out to his own submission hold the Yes Lock (as pictured above). That wasn't the end of WWE and Bryan's involvement with Connor, who gave himself the ring name 'Stone Crusher'. Bryan kept in touch with him and reunited with him after an episode of Raw in December. Furthermore Connor was in the front row for WrestleMania XXX to see his favourite superstar win the big one and, as some might remember, Bryan went straight to him after winning to celebrate with him. Tragically, last month Connor lost his battle with cancer at the age of nine-years-old. This week WWE released a heartbreaking tribute video in tribute to him that will affect even the most cynical viewer. The company have had a lot of moments with Connor, not just with Bryan but with the likes of AJ Lee, Stephanie McMahon, Batista and recently he got to defeat Triple H in front of the entire locker room chanting his name. The video is below and it will be the best and worst five and a half minutes of your day. R.I.P. Connor Michalek.
