Nick Miller, one half of NXT's 'The Mighty' tag-team (formerly known as TM-61) has been let go by WWE.

Though the company has yet to officially bestow Miller with their usual 'Future Endeavours' mail-merge, Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has confirmed the news. The NXT man's departure was first spotted by the removal of his profile, alongside that of NXT UK's Tucker, from WWE.com. At this stage, the status of the latter remains in limbo.

Though it's unknown precisely why Miller has left the company, it is understood that he wished to leave Stamford for personal reasons. According to Meltzer, Miller recently returned to his native Australia following the birth of his child, and decided he wanted to stay.

A return to WWE in the future is said to on the table when Miller feels ready.

Perth-born Miller made his name in NXT alongside Shane Thorne as part of the tag-team TM-61. An injury sidelined Thorne for much of 2017, after which the pair's run resumed before turning heel and adopting the new moniker, The Mighty. The duo's last televised match, a defeat to Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch, aired on last week's episode of NXT.

He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
