WWE Releases Bull Dempsey And Two More NXT Wrestlers

NXT Departures galore....

He thrilled us all with his Bullfit but now James Smith, known to wrestling fans as Bull Dempsey, has left WWE and NXT. Dempsey tweeted the following out earlier this afternoon:

Dempsey signed with WWE in 2013 and appeared on NXT as a big monster like villain. When the gimmick didn't really take off he worked to alter his gimmick into a loveable babyface who would do BullFit to get into shape. Having recently seen him on the NXT shows in the UK in December, he was gaining confidence with large crowds and the fans seemed to be getting behind him. Here's an interview I conducted with Dempsey and Apollo Crews back in December... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=moUdae_-9vc With sporadic appearances on NXT TV recently and usually being on the losing side, it wasn't looking good for Bull on Television. Further details on his release will become available in the coming days. Later in the afternoon, Tom La Ruffa better known to NXT fans as Sylvester Lefort, posted the following picture with himself, Marcus Louis and Bull, indicating all three have left the company: The three men have been clearly featured less on NXT. It's not yet known whether the stars asked for their release or were fired by the company but in the next few hours that information should become clear.
