Last night's WWE SmackDown spoilers from the tapings in Miami, Florida. The show will air Friday night on SyFy (US) and on Sky Sports (UK). The show opens with WWE Champion CM Punk and Paul Heyman at the Sun Life Stadium. Punk wears The Rock's college football jersey and says the stadium that Rocky played college football (at the Orange Dome) is gone. So is the WWE that The Rock used to be a part of. At Royal Rumble, Punk is going to show The Rock that you can never go home. The Rock comes out to cut a promo. Flo Rida are present and The Rock says he is back on The Rock's show, SmackDown. Soon, Damien Sandow and Cody Rhodes comes out and claim they are going to be champions soon and The Rock doesn't deserve this time. Rock says Cody has a dead caterpillar on his lip... but Sandow interrupts and says if The Rock can answer three questions, he can stay. Rock says bring it. First question - who was the 19th US President? Rock answers Rutherford B Hayes, bitch. He answers correctly again when he says Schlinder's List was the Best Picture winner in 1993. The Rock says it's his turn to ask a question before the third is asked. What happens when you combine a geological aggregate of minerals with its lowest for? Sandow says that's easy, you get Rock Bottom. Rock grabs him and nails him with it. Cody gets in Rock's face and he gets a spine buster and then a People's Elbow as The Rock celebrates. General Manager of SmackDown Booker T comes out and announces Antonio Cesaro vs Randy Orton for tonight. Big Show vs Alberto Del Rio for the World Title will also take place. Show comes out and says his match with Del Rio is because Booker T has a personal vendetta against him. Big Show says Del Rio is only getting a title shot because they are in Miami and Del Rio is Latino. There are no more Latino heroes, no more Irish heroes, no Viper heroes... as Del Rio comes out and attacks Big Show, with huge pop for Del Rio. A pre-recorded video airs from Antonio Cesaro announces he will be in the Royal Rumble. 1) Randy Orton defeated WWE United States Champion Antonio Cesaro in a non-title match when Orton was ready to hit the RKO but The Shield came down and destroyed Orton and hit the 3-man Power Bomb. Show vs. Del Rio for later tonight will be a Last Man Standing match. 2) AJ Lee and Dolph Ziggler defeated Natalya and The Great Khali when Natalya was pinned by AJ after the Sliced Bread. Post-match, Big E Langston leveled Khali with a body tackle and Ziggler hit the leg drop on him before Langston hit his finisher on Hornswoggle. 3) Sheamus defeated 3MB (Heath Slater, Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre) when the trio fled away when the match started but Slater ran back in and attempted to attack Sheamus from behind but just ended up getting the Brogue Kick for the loss. 4) WWE Tag Team Champions Kane and Daniel Bryan defeated The Prime Time Players in a non-title match, quick victory. Bryan's knee was taped up and he was limping after the match. 5) Alberto Del Rio defeated Big Show in a Last Man Standing match to become the NEW World Heavyweight Champion! The finish came when Del Rio hit the Big Show with the ring steps three times and got the ten count. He cheered with the crowd after the win.
