WWE Smackdown was taped on Tuesday from Colorado Springs. Backstage had a bit of a different vibe to it, as many wrestlers had already departed to Ireland for the European tour. Throw in all the injuries, and Smackdown was left with somewhat of a depleted roster. Alberto Del Rio and Zeb Colter kicked things off with a promo. Del Rio then wrestled Neville, unsurprisingly picking up the win. Jack Swagger then attacked Del Rio in the post match. The Usos defeated The Ascension, which again is very unsurprising. The Wyatt Family won a "Survivor Series" match, picking up four straight falls over The Prime Time Players and Lucha Dragons. The falls were Young being counted out, Luke Harper pinning Sin Cara, Erick Rowan pinning Kalisto, and Bray Wyatt pinning Titus O'Neil when it was four on one. Ryback went over King Barrett clean with a Shell Shock. Natalya defeated Tamina Snuka in a nothing match. The main event was Dean Ambrose versus Kevin Owens, which on paper is a great headliner bout. However, it ended in a DQ, after Owens convinced the referee that he'd been low blowed. Despite having not seen it, the ref DQ'd Ambrose. Owens then ran away. All in all, a fairly weak offering, as WWE turns its attention to Europe.
