According to Mike Johnson, reporting for PWInsider, Vince McMahon yesterday mass-mailed the entire staff of WWE with a statement on the importance of diversity, and the company's commitment to the cause.

The message included a tailored email address to which anyone in the promotion with any diversity concerns is urged to write. Additionally, a number of links to diversity training courses were also given. These courses have previously been available to staff for free, and it's understood WWE will support any employees who wish to take them.

As well the issue of diversity, McMahon also announced that henceforth a 24/7 mental health counseling service will be available to any talent or staff in need of help. Though the email obviously did not suggest it, Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter opined that this new initiative is a direct reaction to the recent passing of Stardom's Hana Kimura, a tragedy which has affected many on WWE's books.

Relatedly, last night, WWE's Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon commented on racial injustice via Twitter. She vowed: "To everyone who has ever felt the impact and fear of racial injustice, I will use my voice for you."

Across Tuesday, WWE joined in the social media blackout campaign in response to the unjust death of George Floyd.

He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
