WWE Start Selling CM Punk Merchandise Again And Close To Sell Out

Punk merchandise almost sells out straight away, WWE still making money on former star.

WWE's Shop website resumed selling CM Punk merchandise this week. This was notable because the WWE previously pulled all Punk merchandise bearing his name and likeness in September. That was after the former superstar sent his old employer a twenty-two page letter. Does this mean that Punk and WWE have worked some sort of arrangement out? Probably not. The Punk merchandise almost instantly sold out and this is probably just WWE clearing their stock. All that remains now in the Punk merchandise is a Crimson X Pendant. This tells us and WWE that Punk is still insanely popular. For his merchandise to still be selling so well when he hasn't been on TV for ten months is quite extraordinary. The clear message WWE will be getting is that Punk is potential money for them. Personal issues aside, from a business standpoint the McMahon family must be keen on getting this cash cow back to work. However, he's completely done with pro wrestling, there's no indication that there's been any change in his feelings towards WWE. In other CM Punk news, he returned to twitter on Friday night for the first time in two months. He retweeted a ton of photos from fans who had dressed up as he and AJ Lee for Halloween. He also tweeted a photo of a pumpkin he had made and wished his followers a happy Halloween. This is one of his favourite times of the year due to the alternative nature of Halloween as a dark and comical occasion.
