WWE Super Show-Down: 7 Nostalgic Nods In The Undertaker/Triple H Match

5. Undertaker Assaulting Mike Chioda

When Triple H somehow got his shoulder up following that Tombstone, 'The Deadman' was so stunned that he took out his aggression on veteran referee Mike Chioda, nailing him with a killer right jab.

Anyone who knows the history between Triple H and The Undertaker will know that Chioda is a common casualty of their battles, and this moment was a nice little nod to that. It was eerily reminiscent of their WrestleMania X-Seven clash when Triple H kicked out of a Chokeslam and, out of frustration, 'Taker assaulted Chioda. Furthermore, Undertaker also knocked him out during his match with Shawn Michaels at In Your House: Ground Zero (which also involved HHH).

Referee Charles Robinson suffered a similar fate during 'The Phenom' and 'The Game's End of an Era clash at WrestleMania XXVIII when he received a Chokeslam after being unable to finish the three count .

You would think, by now, Chioda (or any referee) would have the sense not to officiate a match that involves The Undertaker, Triple H and Shawn Michaels, but some people just never learn. Or otherwise pull the short straw.
