WWE Survivor Series 2011 PPV - Final Card

Unless matches are announced online in the coming days, the WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view event on Sunday will have only six matches. The final card runs down like this; The Rock & John Cena vs. The Miz and R-Truth in the main event. WWE World Heavyweight Title Mark Henry (c) vs. Big Show WWE Championship Alberto Del Rio (c) vs. CM Punk 5 on 5 Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Match Team Orton (Randy Orton, Sheamus, Mason Ryan, Kofi Kingston and Sin Cara) vs. Team Barrett (Cody Rhodes, Jack Swagger, Hunico and Dolph Ziggler) WWE U.S. Championship Dolph Ziggler (c) vs. Zack Ryder WWE Divas Championship Beth Phoenix (c) vs. Eve Torres So once again for two consecutive PPV's Dolph Ziggler will be pulling double duty with a tag and singles match. He is starting to become the Kurt Angle of the current scene, always called upon when needed to perform and hopefully they will put him over, at least in the singles match. So far the card means there are no matches for John Morrison (no surprise, though he has had a bit of a push lately at least), Daniel Bryan (who remember is supposed to be in the main event picture at Wrestlemania 28 with cashing in his Money in the Bank.... though they have certainly teased him prematurely cashing it in at Survivor Series) and obviously no Kevin Nash vs. Triple H (though that is being kept for the TLC PPV). If I were booking, I would at least put Daniel Bryan in a match and get him a clean victory over somebody in the opening match. Maybe David Otunga or someone? They certainly have enough talent to do another Survivor Series match to open; Daniel Bryan, Ted DiBiase, John Morrison, Santino Marella & Eziekel Jackson vs. David Otunga, Michael McGuillicutty, Jindar Mahal, Brodus Clay (who you could easily job Marella & Jackson too) & Drew McIntyre And perhaps get Bryan over eliminating three guys and coming back from a 2-1 down position? WWE Survivor Series PPV is this Sunday and we will have our preview & predictions article over the weekend.
