WWE 'The Road Is Jericho' Blu-Ray Review (Video)

18 years, 25 matches, 9 hours. LET'S DO THIS!

http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2i8qdy_the-road-is-jericho-review_sport Ahead of its release in March, we've managed to get our hands on a copy of WWE's latest home offering - 'The Road Is Jericho', which sees Y2J himself take viewers back over an 18 year period to dig out some of his personal favourite matches, moments and stories - all the way from his short stint in ECW, to his current on-off appearances with WWE - The ups, the downs, the backstage stuff that not a lot of folks know went on - it's all in there. Jericho sums it up perfectly himself - when he landed in WWE, he was the George Harrison of the company - he was hugely popular (still riding the wave he built in WCW) and incredibly talented, but he spent the entirety of the Attitude Era almost alienated and overshadowed by the company's resident Lennon and McCartney - The Rock and Stone Cold. That didn't ever detract from his draw though, if anything it fuelled him to be the best he could be, and his sheer ability in the ring was reason enough for thousands of people to tune in every week. His popularity hasn't ever waned throughout his 25 year career (even now, appearing on a part time basis, he's still able to work the crowd and take on opponents without it feeling corny). 'But it's 9 hours long! Is it really worth a watch!?' well we took the challenge, and to be honest, it was pretty good to go back over some of those classic bouts, but if you want a more definitive answer, well then you'll just have to watch the video above! Road Is Jericho is released March 16th, 2015.
