WWE Theory: Daniel Bryan Will Leave WWE This Year
"I'll go be the GOAT somewhere else..."
On the off chance you’re coming into this cold (where have you been of the last year?), Daniel Bryan was declared unfit to compete by WWE’s doctors, but not his own, and basically spent most of 2017 unsubtly running down his contract.
But, just before WrestleMania he was cleared, we all lost our minds expecting another run at the top but we’ve had… well, not that. It’s been quite underwhelming watching him tread water in the mid card and the rumours are back that, when his contract’s up in August, he’s going.
You can all stop speculating though because I have worked my magic and arrived at the inescapable scientific conclusion that… Daniel Bryan is going to leave WWE.
Alright so the basic facts. He hasn’t signed a new contract, and that would have been job number 1 as soon as he was cleared. Regardless of WWE’s plans for him, they don’t want one of the biggest names in the industry walking away, so there will be one on the table. If he hasn’t signed it yet, there’s a good reason for that.
