WWE TLC 2015 - 8 Live Observations

A lot of chanting...

Last night€™s TLC pay-per-view delivered on many levels. It proved to be the type of performance to put the waning WWE product into full gear for WrestleMania. The Northeast fans know how to bring it. Afterall, Boston is known to be the city of champions, but according to Kevin Owens last night, I guess the fans have nothing to do with any of it. Unlike the crowd in Atlanta last month at Survivor Series, the Boston crowd was electric, giving talent in the ring the opportunity to feed into adrenaline and turning up their matches by a notch or two. Here are some quick live observations from attending last night€™s pay-per-view at the TD Garden in Boston.

8. Sasha Doesn€™t Play To Boston

Stretching back to RAW in Boston on October 5th, the €œwe-want-sasha€ chants before the colorful lights of a WWE live event even shine, are loud and clear and ring through the concourses. Sasha€™s the hometown girl, and there€™s no way the fact is going to be left alone by a Boston audience. So when Sasha came out during the pre-show to cut a modified christmas carol promo with Team BAD, the crowd fell flat and the boos rang in disappointment. The disapproval had little to do with the heel-element of the promo, but a lot to do with Sasha simply not acknowledging her hometown connection, ala, John Cena, every single chance he gets. It was business as usual for Sasha. Perhaps as a young buck still earning her stripes, WWE may have felt it€™s best for her to stick to the script. But good or bad, Boston fans want to feel the connection. Sasha or WWE€™s disregard for the uniqueness of the situation was the equivalent to opening an X-Box for Christmas and finding a brick in the box instead.
