WWE TLC 2018: 8 Last Minute Rumours You Need To Know

8. Lars Sullivan Makes His Debut

The arrival of Big Scary Lars Sullivan's (he can have that gimmick if he wants it, my fee is modest) arrival on the main roster has now been teased for weeks. Viewers of both Raw and SmackDown have already been teased with vignettes heralding his arrival and he's expected to make his debut any week now. Which brand he ends up on though is the cause of some debate. Raw seems a bit over-encumbered with the company's big men already, so the smart money appears to be on SmackDown.

According to reports on Sportskeeda though, that arrival won't arrive during the week on TV, but this Sunday on PPV. Yes in that classic wrestling trope of 'Introduce A New Guy By Having Him Ruin Someone At A PPV So He's Got Something To Talk About On TV' WWE could be about to introduce a new guy by having him ruin someone at a PPV so he's got something to talk about on TV.

Precisely where he fits into the show is another matter though. If indeed he is off to SmackDown then the WWE Championship match seems too lofty an introduction, the Women's Championship match is presumably off-limits, and the Tag Team Championship match would lead him with no obvious follow-up feud, meaning Randy Orton vs Rey Mysterio is the only logical spot.

Then again, if he's in fact off to Raw, a replacement for the reportedly injured Braun Strowman feels like an near perfect introduction to a man with Sullivan's skillset. More on that later though.
