WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (May 4)

7. Contract Signing From Hell

WWE is really going all the way on this WeeLC match. What must have started out as a passing bad joke in the writer€™s room to Vince McMahon has now becoming a dreaded reality. This pre-show pay-per-view extravaganza has now received more hype than any pre-show match in the company€™s history! But isn€™t the point of the pre-show to actually get people to order the pay-per-view, and not decide to do something else with their night? Airing this match sounds highly questionable in every regard. SmackDown added some more fuel to the fire of this feud with an epic contract signing between Hornswoggle and El Torito. This was booked mainly as an excuse for the announcers and Vickie Guerrero to tell jokes about short people. Of course JBL and Michael Cole were having the time of their life. After all, McMahon was probably on their headset commanding them to laugh. Was it entertaining? Absolutely not! Did WWE accomplish their mission of repeatedly making fun of two people who were born smaller than the average person? Absolutely!

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
