WWE are set to arrive on British shores for a series of NXT live events in a few weeks' time, starting in Aberdeen on June 5th, and concluding at this year's Download Festival on the 11th. Sandwiched between those dates is a show at the Manchester Arena on June 6th, but this could now be in jeopardy following the recent terror attack at the venue.

The company are yet to release an official statement, but according to TMZ Sports, WWE are currently working with local officials to determine whether or not the event should go ahead. A WWE representative told TMZ the following:-

"WWE offers its heartfelt condolences to those affected by this tragedy. We are working with local authorities on the appropriate course of action as it relates to our event scheduled for Tuesday, June 6 at the Manchester Arena."

British pop group Take That have since cancelled three shows originally set to take place at the arena later this week, due to the heightened security risk.
