WWE Tribute To The Troops Spoilers - John Cena Gets Amazing Reaction

WWE taped it's annual "Tribute to the Troops" special last night in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The show will air December 14th on the USA Network and on NBC December 17th. Here's a report; A packed and hot crowd make for an incredible atmosphere. Dark Match: Santino Marella def. Jinder Mahal Lillian Garcia performed Star Spangled Banner to open the tapings, which is then followed by a Troops video package. Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole on commentary. 1) Randy Orton def. Wade Barrett by DQ when David Otunga interfered. Post-match, Barrett was setting up the table to put Orton through but bailed when Orton got up but Otunga was still around and was RKO'd through it. A second Troops video plays. 2) Zack Ryder (as part of his mega push) def. Jack Swagger. Sgt. Slaughter was in Ryder's corner, Dolph Ziggler in Swagger's. At one point Slaughter chucked Dolph over the annoucer's table which got a big pop. Booker T came out to join Lawler & Cole on commentary. 3) Cody Rhodes def. Daniel Bryan by DQ when Booker T got involved and attacked Cody. Booker T did a Spin-A-Rooni for the audience post-match. Mary J. Blige performed for the crowd, signing several songs. Not sure if these will air and certainly not in full. 4) Kelly Kelly, Eve Torres, Alicia Fox & Maria Menounos def. Beth Phoenix, Natalya and The Bella Twins in what was said to be a strange match. Menounos won by pinning Beth. 5) Primo & Epico (with Rosa Mendes) def. Air Boom in a non title-match. 6) Sheamus def. Drew McIntyre - though for t.v. don't be surprised if it's Drew McIntyre def. Sheamus by ref DQ because Sheamus wouldn't stop kicking McIntyre's ass and the ref stopped the match. Sheamus then brought Drew back in the ring and won with the Brogue Kick for the pin, presumably something for the crowd for what was a bullshit finish. Nickelback performed the RAW theme for the crowd. Rey Mysterio surprisingly appeared backstage and got a huge ovation. He talked for a while saying he can't compete before Alberto Del Rio & The Miz walked in and hyped up TLC. CM Punk then talked to Rey. This probably won't air. Comedian George Wallace performed a skit that went down well and we can presume this won't air also. John Cena, CM Punk, Big Show def. The Miz, Alberto Del Rio & Mark Henry in the main event. Cena is said to have gotten a HUGE ovation from a 100% partisan crowd who loved him. Said to be amazing. Cena won the match for his team via pinfall. After the main event the entire roster came out to the stage to congratulate the Troops including Triple H and BG James (Road Dogg). Cena closed with a speech thanking the Troops.
